Hear the ocean speak through its people’s voices.
An immersive documentary series journeying along Africa’s vast and vibrant coastlines to champion the storytellers, scientists, and guardians who are fighting for access, equity, and the protection of our planet’s most vital ecosystem: the ocean.

Ocean Stories is more than a documentary; it’s a movement. Our award-winning pilot season proved the power of African ocean narratives to connect and inspire, taking home best documentary prize at the Cameroon International Film Festival. Now, we are embarking on our most ambitious journey yet.

Season 1 will be a deeper, more cinematic dive into the heart of Africa’s relationship with the sea. We will use cutting-edge technology—from underwater drone cinematography to immersive sound design—to bring audiences directly into the stories of coastal communities, marine biologists, and fierce conservation advocates. This season is about expanding the conversation from awareness to action, showcasing not just the challenges but the innovative, community-led solutions emerging across the continent
