At Wild Ash Pictures, we believe in the power of stories to spark change and inspire action. Our mission is to amplify underrepresented voices and communities through bold documentaries and narrative films that challenge stereotypes and showcase the beauty of African heritage. By diving deep into the heart of local cultures, we present captivating stories that resonate with audiences worldwide.

Our unique approach involves partnering with grassroots communities as collaborators. This co-creation process not only brings authenticity to our films but also empowers local storytellers, fostering the next generation of African filmmakers. We provide mentorship and training opportunities that equip aspiring directors, cinematographers, and storytellers with the skills necessary to thrive in the industry.

We specialize in diverse genres, ranging from natural history documentaries that explore the intricate connections between humans and the environment to compelling dramas that capture the essence of everyday life in Africa. Our portfolio includes impactful projects like “Big Mind Little Mind,” which showcases the intelligence of KwaZulu-Natal’s wildlife, and the documentary series “Ocean Stories,” highlighting the rich marine life along West Africa’s coastline.

As custodians of African narratives, we are committed to using film as a tool for social impact. Our projects are not merely artistic expressions; they are platforms for advocacy, encouraging dialogue and awareness around conservation and community engagement. We believe that storytelling can transcend borders, creating a shared understanding of our world and the challenges we face.
